Still, the swingman recognizes when he can shoulder a heavier offensive load. Friday night’s 122-107 win over Memphis, in which Kevin Durant’s shot was off and Stephen Curry failed to reach the 20-point mark, provided one such opportunity.
Because he made eight free-throw tries, Iguodala needed only six shots for a season-high 22 points. It was just the 11th time this season that he has scored in double digits.
