Receiving a championship ring is a transcendent experience for many NBA players. But three months after watching his former team win a title, Anderson Varejao is unsure about whether he’ll accept a ring from the Cavaliers.
“They did offer a ring, but I'm not sure what's going to happen,” said Varejao, who spent 11-plus seasons with Cleveland before joining the Warriors in February. “I really didn't put much thought into it, just focusing on this season and playing this season, and trying to win here.”
Because he played 31 games with the Cavaliers last season, Varejao was eligible for a championship ring.
