OAKLAND — The Warriors have made a move for the NBA Draft well before they are officially on the clock. The Warriors acquired the No. 41 pick from the Atlanta Hawks for $1.3 million and a 2024 second-round pick, league sources confirmed to Bay Area News Group. ESPN first reported the news.
The Warriors also have the No. 28 and No. 58 picks in today’s NBA Draft, picks that general manager Bob Myers admitted will be instrumental in the team’s future. After all, the Warriors will be without Kevin Durant either via free-agency departure or a likely season-ending injury to his right Achilles tendon.
