OAKLAND — With the Warriors committing just seven turnovers in the Game 1 victory over Utah, acting head coach Mike Brown took the opportunity Wednesday to get in a humorous dig at the man he’s standing in for, Steve Kerr.
“Steve, I hope you’re watching this,” Brown said during his post-practice media session. “We’ve had a total of 24 turnovers in the last three games. That’s an area I’m doing a lot better than you. I’ve gotten the point across a lot better.”
Brown couldn’t keep it up with the joke, although when encouraged by a media member that he should take the credit, he picked it back up.
