CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As he sheds the last layers of rust, DeMarcus Cousins still has demonstrated one thing. If he has not mirrored the player that once made four NBA All-Star appearances, Cousins has exerted enough dominance to help the Warriors.
In the Warriors’ 121-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday, Cousins finished with a season-high 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting along with 11 rebounds in a season-high 31 minutes.
At the behest of other 29 NBA teams, the Warriors also featured Klay Thompson (26 points), Kevin Durant (24), Draymond Green (14), and Stephen Curry (16) logging double figures.
