The Warriors looked like the Warriors again. And then they didn’t.
The Warriors escaped with a 120-116 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday after nearly squandering an 18-point lead. Warriors forward Kevin Durant sank a 3-pointer for a 120-116 lead with 14.2 seconds left after Mavs center DeAndre Jordan split a pair of foul shots and Dallas forward/Ex-Warriors Harrison Barnes missed a wide open 3-pointer.
That capped an efficient night for Durant, who had 29 points while shooting 9-of-18 shooting, 3-of-5 from 3-point range and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line along with 12 rebounds and eight assists.
