OAKLAND — The Warriors finished with a 120-114 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, bringing them closer toward both locking the No. 1 seed and preparing for the NBA playoffs. But the Warriors nearly squandered a 21-point lead.
No matter. The Warriors (55-24) have won four consecutive games and appear likely to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors can do that with a win over the Clippers on Sunday in their final home game at Oracle Arena. Or the Nuggets can lose one of their last three games.
The Warriors mostly leaned on Stephen Curry (40 points) and Draymond Green (20) for most of the production.
