Videos and tweets from the Chase Center groundbreaking in San Francisco on Tuesday showed excavators dancing and men in neon construction gear doing backflips through the aisles.
The arena will be the new home of the Golden State Warriors in the 2019-20 season. It's a $1 billion project funded primarily by Lacob and the team.
The complex will cover 11 acres of San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, featuring an 18,000-seat arena, 600,000 square feet of office space, and a 5.5-acre park.
