It’s odd being a W’s fan these days.
There are stretches when you wonder if the W’s haven’t turned the regular season into an (only slightly) glamorized pre-season.
Oh, there’s keeping an eye on homecourt advantage. And those memorable marquee games like last Saturday’s against the Celtics.
But even that game gained added luster because it was so easy to imagine oneself forward as if Saturday’s game was really a preview of what Game 2 of the NBA finals could be.
One of the myths about this current season (and I don’t mean myth in the sense of falsehood) is that the W’s are far and away the league’s most talented team and that only their only ennui ever really hampers them.
