For a universe that spans an entire galaxy far far away, the world of Star Wars can’t seem to stop revolving around Tatooine, a rural desert planet way way way out there on the Outer Rim. A whole host of Star Wars heroes and villains have spent time there. One of the characteristic features of the (fictional) planet are its twin suns – in fact, one of the most iconic shots of the entire Star Wars cinematic universe comes when Luke Skywalker, with John Williams’s incredible musical score playing, stands framed against the setting suns, both of them clearly visible as the wind sweeps over the Dune Sea.
