“NBA Awards” (9 p.m., TNT): Hoop dreams will come true for a chosen few when Drake hosts this star-studded trophy fest in New York City. The event honors the standout performers from the 2016-17 season, including MVP, top defensive player and best rookie. Celebrity presenters include Chadwick Boseman, Nick Cannon, Vince Carter, Kevin Garnett, Bryshere Y. Gray, Grant Hill, Monica, Dirk Nowitzki, Candace Parker, Paul Pierce, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jussie Smollett, John Wall and Jesse Williams.
