Jeff Van Gundy admits that he might be a little biased in his thinking, but he believes the Warriors could become a dynasty.
The former NBA coach and current ABC/ESPN analyst grew up a fan of the A’s, Raiders and Warriors — often falling asleep while listening to Bill King call games. He remembers the Warriors’ 1975 championship team and the 1976 squad, which he believes to be better than its predecessor despite losing in the Western Conference finals.
He was a fan of Al Attles, Jeff Mullins, Nate Thurmond and George Johnson, and he’d go to a game about once a year and focus on Rick Barry.
