Last night’s game was always about tomorrow.
Whether it would’ve been—right now—about the “re-tooling” Viggy speaks of in his thoughtful honest previous post. Or if, as it turns out, it’s now about Game 6.
There’s so little carry-over from one game to another—especially for the W’s this season—that the past is rarely prelude. Except perhaps in a cruel obverse sense.
Still I’m not going to focus on a “game summary” per se. I rarely do anyway. Instead what I’ll focus on are the signs in Game 5 that are promising. And the fixes still needing to be made.
