That wasn’t pretty.
The Golden State Warriors had one of their worst outings of the season in a 119-104 loss to the New York Knicks.
The Dubs — who played their third game in four nights — looked like the more tired team from the opening tip. That seemed especially true on defense with Golden State giving up 40 points in the opening 12 minutes to a Knicks team that typically starts slow. Coming into this game, New York was averaging just 25.4 points in the first quarter.
Despite the ugly first quarter, the Dubs went on a run to tie the game at 55-55 with 2:01 left in the second quarter.
