SAN ANTONIO -- Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he didn't bring up the streak with his team. He doesn't think it matters to his guys the Warriors hadn't beaten the Spurs since Valentine's Day in 1997.
"I'm pretty sure Draymond Green doesn't care care what happened between Felton Spencer and Vinny Del Negro," he said, pulling out two names from the past. But most of the game it felt like the same old story, the Warriors staggering under the weight of Spurs excellence, heightened by the rabid yells of maniacal fans.It certainly felt like the spirit of Larry Hughes had taken over Stephen Curry's body.
