Thompson returns as Warriors chase 29th straight win

MILWAUKEE - For weeks, Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton has pointed toward Saturday’s game in Milwaukee as a possible rest day for some of his players.

But he’s changed his mind.

All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson (right ankle) will return to the starting lineup after missing Friday night’s game at Boston, and sixth man Andre Iguodala, who played 44 minutes Friday, and backup point guard Shaun Livingston, who logged 35 minutes, will both suit up for the Warriors against the Bucks.

“I emphasize that, in the big picture, (the streak) doesn’t mean anything with what we’re trying to accomplish, but it’s really special what they’re doing,” Walton said ahead of his team’s attempt at a 29th consecutive victory, dating back to the 2014-15 regular season.
