ESPN analyst and former Boston Celtics big man Kendrick Perkins made an actually good point (!) about Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry on Tuesday.
Responding to a Draymond Green quote defending Curry’s legacy in the face of criticism over the greatest shooter to ever live’s lack of a Finals MVP despite five Finals trips and three titles, Perkins said on ESPN’s “NBA Today”:
“Well I’m confused because nobody ever questioned Steph Curry’s greatness, so for Draymond to say that is weird to me. Nobody ever said he needed to win a Finals MVP to solidify his greatness.
