Over the weekend it was reported that Damion Lee was signing a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. And with that, the team’s roster is almost surely set for the 2019-20 season.
The Warriors have used 14 of their available 15 roster spots, and both of their two-way contracts. They are hard-capped, due to the sign-and-trade acquisition of D’Angelo Russell, which means they cannot spend above a certain dollar amount.
They are nearly to that amount, which means they are not allowed to use the 15th roster spot.
