Lest you have any lingering doubts, yesterday's Warriors parade was very well-lubricated.
TMZ reports the Warriors went through half a million dollars of (mostly) high-end alcohol on the parade route. It's not an expense for the team or the city, though. Most of that alcohol was gifted by the brands, who use the opportunity as an extended, impromptu photo op.
For the Warriors' locker room celebration after winning the NBA title, they were also given 300 bottles of Moët & Chandon (150 bottles of Impérial Golden Luminous and 150 bottles of Nectar Impérial Rosé).
