The Warriors' Jimmy Butler concerns appear to have been overblown

It took all of two games for Jimmy Butler to go from a team-killing pariah to a celebrated ceiling raiser in the eyes of the Warriors.

All-Star Steph Curry, head coach Steve Kerr and young forward Jonathan Kuminga all offered some high praise to Golden State’s blockbuster trade acquisition after road wins on Saturday and Monday. Following Monday’s victory in Milwaukee, Curry told reporters that Butler makes things easier for the Warriors offense with a standout quote: “Every possession just doesn’t feel as hard.”

Kerr, speaking during a weekly appearance on 95.7 The Game’s “Willard and Dibs” show Tuesday, described Butler as a necessity to compete in a loaded Western Conference.
