The NBA Finals shifted to TD Garden in Boston on Wednesday and, wouldn't you know it, there was an immediate issue for the Golden State Warriors.
According to multiple reports, the visitors' rim — and only the visitors; rim — was crooked, forcing the Dubs to pause their pre-game shootaround a couple hours before tip-off of a critical game three that will either see the Warriors re-gain homecourt advantage or the Celtics steal it.
The disruption of Golden State's pre-game routine was due to the hoop being "a couple inches too high," according to veteran NBA scribe John Hollinger.
