When Riley Morrison wrote to Stephen Curry, she didn't expect a reply.
Morrison, 9, wanted a pair of Curry 5s, but they didn't have any listed on Curry's website in the girl's section. In her handwritten note, she mentioned her disappointment because "girls want to rock the Curry 5's, too."
He took care of it. A new type of shoe was invented and they instantly became a hit. So much so, they have now sold out just a day after the release date of March 8 -- International Women's Day.
That didn't take long.
