The Warriors are a team of gestures. There’s the salute from the bench when a Warriors player drains a three pointer. There’s the extended hand held aloft for all to admire on a particularly nice lay-up or alley-oop. And when Draymond Green — or occasionally Stephen Curry — muscles his way inside, we’ll get a power flex. But if I were to choose one gesture that captures the essence of this team, it would be the point. When one player makes a beautiful pass to another, the recipient will send an appreciative point in the passer’s direction. And with this tightly-knit group, the passer more often than not will send a “you’re welcome” point back in the recipient’s direction.
