Two odd tweets from Kevin Durant's Twitter account posted on Sunday have led to a full-blown internet conspiracy theory that KD is using fake accounts to defend himself on social media.
The saga started with two tweets from Durant's official account responding to a user who asked the Warriors star to give him "one legitimate reason for leaving [Oklahoma City] other than getting a championship." Durant's official account responded twice, first writing, "he didn't like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan. His roster wasn't that good, it was just him and russ."
Durant's second tweet, which also refers to himself in the third person, reads: "imagine taking russ off that team, see how bad they were.
