The Golden State Warriors, in the vast majority of minds, are still atop the league. While they may not have the best record, they’ve proven over the last few seasons to be impossible to beat when the spotlight is on them and their backs are against the wall.
Just two seasons ago, the Dubs went 16-1 in the postseason. Last season, they went 16-5. They’ve been absolutely dominant when it’s mattered the most. However, until now, they haven’t seen a team without LeBron come out of the East.
This will be the first time that in half a decade that both the Golden State Warriors and LeBron James won’t be in the playoffs.
