30, Omri Casspi has been waived by the Memphis Grizzlies and is available for the Golden State Warriors, if they desire his unique skill set. Casspi, the first Israeli in the NBA, was part of the Warriors 2017-2018 championship-winning roster.
He averaged 5.7 points per game for the Dubs, his highest total since the 2015-2016 season. He signed a veteran’s minimum with the Grizzlies after the Warriors decided not to bring him back. Then Patrick McCaw happened.
The Warriors 15th player was supposed to be the young former UNLC standout. They drafted McCaw and hoped to groom him into a star.
