The Golden State Warriors only originally signed Marquese Chriss to be an additional body in the team’s training camp. Well, their relationship has blossomed into so much more as players have lobbied for the team to keep him.
Likely to keep the big man, don’t expect the team to release a player on a two-way contract for Chriss. The Dubs have both those positions filled with Damion Lee and Ky Bowman, two players that’d give much-needed backcourt assistance.
The thing about two-way contracts is that they have a few stipulations. One of those is that the player can’t be with their NBA team for more than 45 days.
