Over the last few weeks, the Golden State Warriors have been some of their worst basketball of the Steve Kerr era. Losing four straight for the first time since March of 2013, the fear in opponent’s eyes seemed to wane.
Most of those losses can be directly attributed to the absence of Stephen Curry. Prior to injuring his groin, Curry was one of the league’s most efficient scorers and a clear choice for early-season MVP. His loss hurt the Dubs, but it didn’t break up.
Draymond Green‘s rebound and ensuing turnover at the end of regulation against the Clippers broke them.
