Chris has already put today’s crucial Game 5 into proper context – please go ahead and read that post if you haven’t already. It falls to me to go over Games 3 and 4, two very different contests with identical outcomes: the Lakers won, the Warriors lost. For a team (the Dubs, in case it was unclear) that has been abjectly terrible on the road all season long, these outcomes shouldn’t be shocking or surprising. But they’re disappointing all the same. Game 3’s blowout result was a function of the Warriors letting go of the rope, something they’ve done twice already this postseason.
