Like elephants, the Golden State Warriors never forget.
Over the last few seasons, the fastest way to get these Warriors motivated and fired up is to either doubt them, question them, or (rarely) beat them in the beautiful game of basketball. And when the Warriors turn the intensity up to maximum and rev their internal engines to the redline, results like last night happen.
The Dubs trounced the poor Los Angeles Lakers 149-106, with that score somehow both over and under emphasizing just how dominant the Warriors were. The Warriors put up 80 points in the first half and followed that up with 69 points in the second half, including a 43 point fourth quarter.
