The Golden State Warriors were not crowned Summer League champions this year – that honor belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers, who rode the healthy bits of tournament MVP Lonzo Ball and standout performer Kyle Kuzma to the title. In fact, the Dubs got pasted in a number of games they played, by a number of different teams who were all going through roster churn of their own, which could be taken by alarmists as a cause for concern. Instead, the reaction of most Warriors fans is “so what,” which would have been outrageous as recently as a few years ago.
