Strength in Numbers, Redux (Warriors 105, Bucks 95)

The Golden State Warriors’ playoff catchphrase of “Strength in Numbers” has always been a bit of a lie. While the bench has never been a dumpster fire, it is also fairly disengenuous to give it more credit than it deserves. Confidence and scoring, in particular, have been noted weaknesses of the deeper fringes of the roster, as the likes of Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Patrick McCaw, Jordan Bell, etc. have rarely been comfortable taking and making shots. This year, the Warriors retooled behind some youth (Alfonzo McKinnie, Damion Lee, Jacob Evans) and a proven asset (Jonas Jerebko).
