Stories behind the Warriors’ 95-87 win over Toronto

Leandro Barbosa scored a team-high 15 points in 14 ½ minutes, and the “Splash Brothers” added 14 points apiece in the Warriors’ 95-87 exhibition-opening victory over Toronto on Monday night in San Jose.

Here’s what we were paying particular attention to heading into Monday’s game:

1. No-play offense: In a perfect world, the Warriors won’t call plays on offense. Instead, Stephen Curry will push the ball in transition and simply read the defense and flow into offensive sets if early looks aren’t created off the break.

The Warriors allowed Toronto to grab 19 offensive rebounds.
