Steve Kerr's opening night Warriors rotation was an accidental insult to Jayson Tatum

If Celtics forward Jayson Tatum happened to catch the Golden State Warriors’ season opener in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, he would have seen something he never got to experience this past summer: Steve Kerr playing a deep rotation.

Despite Team USA winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, a bit of controversy surrounded how Kerr, who coached the Olympic team, partitioned playing time among his roster of stars. The most prominent player missing out on minutes was Tatum, who infamously did not see the floor for either game against Serbia, including the semifinals, and was the 11th man in the quarterfinals game against Brazil.
