Shortly after touching down Friday in San Diego, Steve Kerr swam in the Pacific Ocean.
“Salt-water therapy,” Kerr said in a conference call with reporters Monday.
Over the final four games of the NBA Finals, Kerr managed his head and neck pain well enough to coach from the bench. Now, as an important offseason looms, he is turning his focus back to finding a permanent solution to the complications from back surgery that have plagued him for two years.
Though Kerr declined to provide specifics, he said that he plans to spend coming weeks traveling the country and, if necessary, the world to look into potential answers.
