Steve Kerr takes responsibility for Golden State Warriors’ major issue in 2022-23

Golden State Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr has taken responsibility for his team’s disconnect last season, with the lack of cohesion ultimately leading to a second-round playoff exit for the 2022 NBA champions.

Despite plenty of optimism that they’d be able to turn it around, things were off at the franchise for almost the entirety of 2022-23. With an horrific road record underpinning their season, the Warriors were never able to gather sustained momentum.

While Steve Kerr may have been able to do more at certain points, a lack of chemistry at the Golden State Warriors was far from his doing last season.
