Steve Kerr says 2017-18 Warriors are his deepest team yet

In the season before Steve Kerr was hired as head coach in May 2014, the Warriors’ second unit was a glaring issue. Over the past three seasons, with Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston leading the way, the “Strength in Numbers” catchphrase has reinforced Golden State’s pride in its backups.

These days, Kerr is comfortable playing any of his 15 players meaningful minutes. It is a level of depth that rivals the 2015-16 team that brought the likes of Festus Ezeli, Leandro Barbosa, Marreese Speights and Brandon Rush off the bench.
