ORLANDO — During pregame introductions on Sunday in Orlando, Steve Kerr was introduced to the crowd as a ‘former Orlando Magic star.’ He laughed and turned toward the scorer’s table.
“I told my buddy, the PA announcer, that I was here three months and scored a total of 12 points,” Kerr laughed. “You’re going to have to look that up. It might have been 14.”
Kerr was then asked if it was his form of alternative facts — referring to the online joke that has popped up after new White House press secretary Sean Spicer had a contentious meeting with reporters on Saturday disputing coverage of the recent inauguration by dropping some questionable facts about the attendance that seem to be fudged.
