Zaza Pachulia just can’t catch a break.
On the same night that he scored the most points he’s ever recorded as a Warrior, one of his superstar teammates had to steal the spotlight.
Pachulia finished with 17 points on six-for-six shooting, eight rebounds and six assists in the Warriors’ 141-128 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. It was a near perfect performance in which he flirted with a triple-double, yet it was overshadowed by Stephen Curry’s dazzling 38 points on 13-for-17 shooting from the field, including 10-for-13 from beyond the three-point line, a record for three-pointers made by a single player this season.
