OAKLAND – As if Warriors coach Steve Kerr did not already feel annoyed.
He lamented “we didn’t have a competitive edge and toughness” during the Warriors’ Game 5 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. He also conceded “we wasted our opportunity” in failing to close out the series and maximize rest for a presumed Western Conference semifinals matchup with the Houston Rockets.
Just as he analyzed the state of the Warriors entering Game 6 against the Clippers on Friday in Los Angeles, Kerr struggled to hear himself and the reporters around him.
