PORTLAND, Ore. — Warriors coach Steve Kerr has often repeated the same message. But he will never be at a loss for words. Not over this issue.
With a gunman killing a reported 17 people at a high school in Parkland, Fla. on Wednesday, Kerr expressed outrage over both another mass shooting and the United States’ inability to stop them from happening.
“Nothing has been done. It doesn’t seem to matter to our government that children are being shot to death day after day in schools,” Kerr said before the Warriors (44-13) played the Portland Trail Blazers (31-26).
