Steve Kerr is leaving the story arc from last year’s historic collapse for the media.
The Warriors coach abstains from seeing the 2016 NBA Finals crash against the Cavaliers as fuel for revenge.
“I don’t think it’s this mission, like, Oh my god, we got to make up for what happened. That’s how fans look at it,” Kerr told Bleacher Report’s Erik Malinowski. “That’s how the media looks at it: You got to make amends, you got to make up for a 3-1 collapse. It doesn’t work that way. You just go out and play and do your best.
