OAKLAND -- Stephen Curry won't play in Game 2 on Tuesday, but the Warriors' guard is making appropriate progress as he rehabilitates from his right knee sprain.
"He's doing pretty well," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said before Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, over whom the Warriors own a 1-0 series lead."Going through all the rehab process and he's making the improvement that we're looking for, but he hasn't been on the floor with the team at this point. Hopefully that'll come but I don't know when."Kerr agreed with the premise that the long layoff until Game 3 in Portland, which isn't until Saturday, provides some hope but said the decision will be solely made by the medical staff as to when Curry will return.
