Stephen Curry’s absence has strengthened his case for MVP

This season started off with a truly special streak from Stephen Curry. Curry had always been known for changing the game with his 3-point shooting but his start to the 2018-19 NBA season was something we had never before.

Through 12 games, Curry is averaging 29.5 points and 6.5 assists per game. He is knocking down an all-time high 5.2 3-pointers a game and has been torching teams. Sadly, his run was halted by a groin injury that has caused him to miss the last six games.

Despite not being able to play, Curry’s case for the MVP award has actually grown stronger.
