CHICAGO — Warriors guard Stephen Curry will be a team captain in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game next month in Los Angeles, forcing him to make a tricky decision: Who does he select to join his squad?
Per the league’s new All-Star Game format, Curry and LeBron James — the players from each conference who received the most fan votes — will choose rosters from a pool of players voted as starters and reserves. With 2,379,494 fan votes, Curry was the Western Conference’s top vote-getter, according to the results announced Thursday on TNT.
Teammate Kevin Durant, who was a close second with 2,238,406 fan votes, joins Curry as an All-Star starter.
