Stephen Curry sets playoff 3-point record

OAKLAND -- Warriors guard Stephen Curry made six 3-pointers Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against Oklahoma City and has now hit a 3 in 45 straight postseason games, breaking Reggie Miller's record.

Curry, who had seven assists in the game, has 323 career postseason assists, moving past Rick Barry for first place on the franchise's all-time list.

  • Klay Thompson recorded his eighth straight 20-point game in these playoffs, the longest such streak by a Warrior since Tim Hardaway did in a 12 straight games over two postseasons in 1991-92.
  • According to ESPN, the Warriors have interest in hiring Jeff Hornacek as an assistant coach.
