Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will miss Saturday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a left knee contusion, the team announced.
A year after he secured unanimous MVP honors, Curry has largely been healthy for the two-time defending Western Conference champions.
To date, he's appeared in 77 of 79 regular-season games and operated as one-third of the league's most electric superstar triumvirate alongside Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.
All told, Curry is averaging 25.3 points and 6.6 assists per game while shooting 46.
