To some, Stephen Curry’s greatness has become routine. The dizzying dribbling displays, the behind-the-back passes, the 30-foot jumpers — they’re all so common at this point that those not paying close attention might almost be bored.
A man who has a courtside seat for the show, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, wants to make sure no one takes Curry’s brilliance for granted. More than 24 hours before Golden State’s 117-106 preseason win Friday night over the Kings, Kerr delivered a more-than-three-minute monologue praising the two-time NBA MVP.
“I think Steph is at his absolute peak right now, physically and emotionally,” Kerr said.
