Stephen Curry leaves game with left knee strain in Warriors-Hawks game

OAKLAND — Warriors guard Stephen Curry left with 3:09 left in the third quarter of Friday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks after suffering a left knee strain.

The source of the injury: Warriors center JaVale McGee contested a shot, fell down on the ground and tumbled into Curry’s left leg. Immediately, Curry hobbled around the court and the sellout crowd at Oracle Arena groaned collectively. Curry kept pacing around the court in hopes to shake the ailment off. But Curry still limped.
