The Golden State Warriors don’t have too many reasons to celebrate this season, but the anniversary of Stephen Curry’s tweet reminded those that have been there since the beginning that this historic run was a thing of beauty.
Curry put his emotions, and the thoughts of Dub Nation, on Twitter a day after the team, that fans knew had so much promise, dropped to 2-5 in 2009. That season, they didn’t necessarily turn it around, but it was the starting point for the blueprint that was to follow.
In that span, the small-town guard from Davidson put up two MVPs and lead the Warriors to five-straight Finals appearances.
